The role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing Sprinx’s business in the DACH region, with a focus on both business development and key account management.

You will manage and grow relationships with existing customers, partners and contacts, while identifying new leads and opportunities to expand Sprinx’s market presence.

Sprinx approaches the market as a technology partner, so we are looking for someone able to combine commercial drive with a consultative and technical understanding of our solutions. This is not a purely transactional sales role.

You will report to the International Sales Manager and work closely with Sprinx’s sales, technical and management teams.

What you will do

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • managing and developing existing relationships with customers, partners, distributors and key contacts in the DACH region;
  • identifying, qualifying and generating new business opportunities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland;
  • building and maintaining a solid sales pipeline, with clear priorities and revenue objectives;
  • developing strategic relationships with public and private stakeholders and technology partners;
  • presenting Sprinx’s AI-based video analytics solutions in a clear, credible and technically sound way;
  • understanding customer needs and translating technical value into business impact;
  • preparing and delivering product presentations, demos, commercial proposals and follow-ups;
  • contributing to the negotiations and closing of new opportunities;
  • monitoring market trends, competitors and local business opportunities;
  • representing Sprinx at customer meetings, partner meetings, trade fairs and industry events;
  • keeping CRM and sales reporting activities accurate and up to date;
  • collaborating internally with sales, technical and management teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a sales professional with solid experience in B2B sales, business development, key account management or technical sales, ideally in software, AI, intelligent transport systems, smart mobility, traffic monitoring, video analytics, infrastructure technology or other B2B technology markets.

You should be comfortable managing both existing relationships and new business development activities. The right person will be able to build trust, listen carefully, communicate clearly and present technology as a solution to real customer needs.

You could be a good fit if you are:

  • reliable, proactive and results-oriented;
  • a strong communicator, with excellent listening and relationship-building skills;
  • comfortable working by objectives and taking ownership of results;
  • willing to travel frequently, mainly across the DACH region;
  • interested in technology, innovation and AI-based solutions.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, key account management or technical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the DACH market or previous experience managing customers, partners or distributors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, better if in the field of traffic monitoring, smart mobility, ITS, smart cities or infrastructure-related markets.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Consultative sales approach and ability to understand customer needs before proposing solutions.
  • Confidence in presenting technology products and discussing their value proposition.
  • Good organization, follow-up discipline and pipeline management skills.

Nice-to-have experience

  • Previous work with public administrations, transport agencies, road operators or system integrators.
  • Experience in AI, computer vision, video analytics or software platforms.
  • Experience managing channel partners, distributors or technology resellers.
  • Knowledge of tender processes or complex public/private procurement cycles.
  • Italian and French language skills.

Location and travel

The role can be based either in the DACH region or at Sprinx’s headquarters in Meda, Italy.

The location is flexible, provided that the person can ensure effective coverage of the DACH market, regular presence in the territory and periodic meetings at Sprinx headquarters.

Frequent travel across Germany, Austria and Switzerland is an essential part of the role.
