The traffix.ai software platform is available for both server-side, at-the-edge, and onboard standard CCTV cameras. Sprinx, as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV), is focused on developing cross-platform and agnostic software installed on market hardware belonging to different brands.
In the case of server-side solutions, the Sprinx solution is entirely agnostic to the camera brand, requiring a standard Onvif-RTSP stream for analysis. The traffix.ai can be installed on a standard PC platform, using just the CPUs, thanks to the AI inference engine based on the Intel® OpenVINO™ toolkit, or Nvidia GPUs, according to the system requirements. Sprinx traffix.ai can also be embedded on Nvidia Jetson compact computers for edge computing applications.
Activating professional AID algorithms directly onboard standard CCTV cameras represents an interesting and cost-effective solution in distributed architectures. Sprinx, aware of the strategic importance of enriching the number of brands and camera models compatible with its onboard traffix.ai application, has long since undertaken a verification activity to select and certify the devices that guarantee performance levels according to Sprinx standards. As a result, the list of compatible CCTV camera brands and models is constantly updated; for this reason, it is suggested to request the latest updated list in force.
traffix.ai goes beyond its powerful analysis engine by offering a sophisticated calibration and configuration client. With the integrated 3D object tracking module, calibration is remarkably quick and straightforward. This feature enables you to assign a perspective to the 2D image, ensuring seamless configuration and automatic parameter adjustments based on the object’s actual distance in the scene.
The latest version from Sprinx introduces groundbreaking innovations, including auto-calibration. The system can now automatically detect scene references and calibrate itself, further simplifying the setup process.
Additionally, the new version of traffix.ai allows for multiple-configurations on a single video stream or camera. This capability lets apply different configurations tailored to specific needs, such as speed dome camera presets, time slots, or external inputs. This flexibility ensures that the video analysis system adapts precisely to current requirements and environmental conditions.
The traffix.ai web user interface also displays a dashboard and an event journal for tuning and maintenance purposes. Upon detecting an event and collecting traffic flow information, alarms and data can be automatically forwarded to third-party systems using standard protocols and displayed on the Sprinx centralized management platform, dragon.
