Located on RD914 near Collioure, this 525-meter-long tunnel plays a key role in relieving congestion on coastal roads.

As part of this strategic initiative, Sprinx will provide its advanced Automatic Incident Detection (AID) solution, traffix.ai, to ensure the highest level of security and reliability within the tunnel. Given that the tunnel will not be manned during nighttime operations, the incident detection system must deliver exceptional accuracy in alarm signaling. False alarms must be minimized to prevent unnecessary tunnel closures, as the system will automatically trigger nighttime shutdowns in the event of a detected incident.
The Sprinx AID solution will be permitting:
